Laying Leg Drop
Abdominal Exercise

Working your abs from a different angle, the laying leg drop will leave you feeling sore below the belly button.

During this exercise it is important to avoid any pulling in the lower back when you bring the legs toward the floor. Pull the belly button toward your spine and hold it down through the exercise.

Muscles Involved: Lower Abdominals, Hip Flexors

St.legdropblegdropend

Description:

Lay on your back and pull your belly button toward your spine. Hands behind your head, elbows open.

Opening at the hip, lower the legs toward the floor without lifting the back up. Exhale and pull the legs back up over the hips.

If the exercise hurts your back you can perform it with bent knee to reduce the pressure. If that does not help discontinue the exercise.
