One Leg Bridge
Leg Building Exercise


The one leg bridge is a leg building exercise but it also works the low back at the same time.

You should be able to properly perform a bridge with both feet on the floor before attempting this version.

Muscles Involved: Hamstrings, Low Back, Glutes, Calves

Description:

With your arms laid down at your sides, exhale and press hips up keeping them even as they lift. Pause at the top tightening the glutes.

Lower back down to your start position slowly once again, keeping the hips even.


On the return focus on slowly rolling the spine back down to the floor vertabrae by vertabrae. Do not drop the hips first.
